Griff Gall is the founding artistic director of the Back Bay Ringers and Back Bay Carillon. Mr. Gall had his first experience as a handbell ringer while attaining his B.M. in Music Education from Westminster Choir College as a member of the Westminster Concert Bell Choir. An elementary music specialist in the town of Danvers, Mass, Mr. Gall has presented seminars at state and national handbell and music educaiton conferences and is a contributing author to Overtones, the journal for the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. He serves as Educaion Liaison for AGEHR Area I and is a member of the national AGEHR education advisory committee.
Daniel K. Moore is the director of the Back Bay Carillon. For nearly thirty years, Mr. Moore has been involved with handbell ringing as an educational tool for students. He is the director of the handbell curriculum at the Wheeler School, RI. Mr. Moore has served as the AGEHR Liaison in Music Education and as Chairman of Area I. His articles on rehearsal procedures and handbell techniques have appeared in Overtones, and is the author of Ringing Right! From the Beginning. Mr. Moore is a frequent conductor and clinician for local, regional, and national handbell events.
